Migration of a process control system of a wastewater treatment plant

A client wants to migrate the old Contronic P process control system to Siemens PCS7 in his wastewater treatment plant. He is commissioning EXCO with:

• The software projection and visualization with Simatic PCS7 V7.1
  • Configuration of the existing hardware components
  • Network design
  • Interfaces to other controllers
• Setting up of the system
• Optimization of the process
• Coordination / consultations / schedule monitoring

With the support of EXCO, the existing basis could gradually be modernized without any breakdown of the system. This was a very large system with lots of participants and there was a major time pressure.
